Workshop Terms and Conditions

  • The Participant is responsible for providing all equipment to complete the workshop unless agreed upon otherwise.
  • The workshop fee is non-refundable. The workshop fee may be transferred to another Participant subject to the approval of LP Workshops. Transferring the workshop fee is the responsibility of the Participant.
  • LP Workshops and its designated instructors shall not be held responsible for (A) any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of; persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, and (B) any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government, or by acts of nature, strikes, fire, flood, war, terrorism, sickness, theft, or any other cause(s) beyond their control. The participant waives any claim against LP Workshops and its designated instructors for loss, damage, injury, or death.
  • LP Workshops reserves the right in their sole discretion to accept, decline to accept, or remove any Participant from any photo workshop.
  • LP Workshops shall make every effort to give the Participant advanced notice of any changes. If a workshop is canceled, LP Workshops will notify the Participant as soon as practicable. LP Workshops is not liable for damages incurred in reliance on this agreement.
  • The workshop schedule is subject to change, and no adjustment/proration of fees shall be applied if the program changes due to extenuating circumstances.
  • Participant assumes the responsibility of selecting a workshop appropriate to the Participant’s physical abilities and interests. The Participant is personally responsible for being sufficiently healthy to undertake any workshop.
  • LP Workshops highly recommends you purchase travel insurance for the workshop and travel expenses. LP Workshops is not responsible for cancellations due to medical emergencies or for reimbursement of non-refundable airline tickets, rental cars, or lodging for a workshop cancellation.
  • Not included in any workshop are air transportation, hotel accommodation, meals, dinner beverages, and personal expenses.
  • The Participant shall retain a cooperative attitude throughout the workshop. The Participant acts uncooperative LP Workshops at any time and shall terminate the workshop and retain all workshop fees. All unpaid workshop fees shall be remitted to LP Workshops within 30 days of contract termination or be subject to legal action. Cooperation includes but is not limited to, online and in-person decorum, whether directed at the Instructor or a third party about the workshop.
  • A waiver by either party of any provision of this agreement in any instance shall not be deemed a continuing waiver for the future.
  • This agreement shall be governed by the laws of Sacramento County, California, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions. The parties may only bring an action concerning this agreement in California’s state and federal courts.
  • Suppose either party to this agreement brings a legal action against the other party to this agreement to secure the specific performance of this agreement, collect damages for breach of this agreement, or otherwise enforce or interpret this agreement. In that case, the prevailing party shall recover reasonable attorney’s fees and all costs, premiums for bonds, fees, and other expenses expended or incurred in action in addition to any other relief that may be awarded.
  • This agreement incorporates the entire understanding of the parties. Any modifications to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Any waiver of a breach or default hereunder would not be considered a waiver of a subsequent breach or default of either the same provision or any other provision of this agreement. The laws of the State of California shall govern this agreement.
  • The Participant shall first approach LP Workshops and its designated instructors regarding any issues related to the workshop. Failure to do so will result in the termination of the workshop and forfeiture of all workshop fees. All unpaid workshop fees shall be remitted to LP Workshops within 30 days of contract termination or be subject to legal action.
  • This agreement contains the whole agreement between the parties on its subject matter and supersedes any prior understanding or representation preceding the date of this agreement. There are no other promises, conditions, understandings, or other agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter of this agreement.
